I’ve had a few request lately asking me how to archive emails so I thought I’d put a post up with the instructions I created.

Archive emails in Outlook 2010

Open Outlook 2010 and go to the “File” menu and under “Cleanup Tools” option select Archive.

In the Archive window, select the folder you want to archive, and select the date you want to archive emails older than.

Click OK and let outlook run through and archive you emails.

Remember to backup the pst file your email are archive to.

This is a simple solution but I have been asked about it many times so I hope this helps someone.
